2010 Tennis Camp Programs
Junior Camps Boys and girls, ages 8 - 18
The Junior Camp programs provide individual technical instruction and stroke analysis and development for beginner and intermediate players. We teach a technical foundation and the basics of high percentage, so the player is well equiped for future success. Each session offers tennis specific physical training, singles and double rules and strategy, competitive point play, team-building activities, and many FUN on-court tennis games.
Cost: $395 per week
Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Dates: June 7 - 11 June 14 - 18 June 21 - 25
High School Boys Camp Boys only, entering 9th - 12th grades
Open to all boys entering or currently in High School as well as younger tournament level players. This week is geared to the more competitive player. The camp will be a week of intense training to help the players get ready for the upcoming HS tennis season. The camp will have the feel of a collegiate environment, specifically how the DU Men’s Tennis Team trains. Practices will include both singles and doubles drills, strategy sessions, technique analysis, and match play. There will also be tennis specific fitness sessions. Coaches will include the Head Coach Danny Westerman and current members of the DU men’s program, and other Collegiate Men’s Tennis Players. Members of the camp will be able to experience how a Division I program practices and also be able to learn the skills necessary to play at the collegiate level.

High School Girls Camp Girls only, entering 9th - 12th grades
The High School Girls Training Camp gives girls who are currently on their high school team or aspiring to make their team a chance to work with other girls who share a similar goal. The focus will be on taking your game to the next level through drills, match play, and strategy sessions for singles and doubles play. We also emphasize the all important mental side of tennis and how you can make the most of your physical and mental talents.
Cost: $315
Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Dates: August 2-5
